MEET THE TEAM

Abdul Buhari (Discus; Private Banking)
Abdul is a London 2012 Olympian, which was achieved whilst continuing to work part-time at Credit Suisse where is now a private banker covering sport media and entertainment.  He recognises the need to bridge the gap between athletes and the resources available which is key to success when transitioning. As a British Athletics Athletes Commission member, Abdul focuses his efforts in embedding a transitional process from sport to industry.

Lawrence Clarke (110m hurdles; Investment Banking)
A double Olympian (2012, 2016) and former Captain of the British Athletics team, Lawrence transitioned to Investment Banking in 2016.  He now works in Cross-Asset Sales on the trading floor at Citigroup. He was a member of the Members Council of British Athletics until 2018 and has been constantly involved in bringing the athlete transition story to his federation as well as to wider businesses.

Ed White (Rowing; Consulting and Investment Banking)
Ed recognises the skills that successful athletes are able to bring to the professional work environment.  Ed had a TASS scholarship whilst at University and combined rowing domestically whilst building a career in consultancy and banking.  He is currently a Director at Credit Suisse.  Ed is passionate about offering athletes the support to get a foot in the door in the corporate world to enable them maximise their potential post sport.
